Our old friend Cpl. Jeffrey McFarland of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police emailed us some beautiful shots from a bike trip, that he took to British Columbia. If Jeff’s orange Foes Mutz looks familiar, it’s because he’s a repeat contributor to our Wallpaper Wednesday Gallery! Here’s what Jeff shared about this week’s selection.
Hope summer has treated you guys well and everybody has got their share of riding time in! I just got back from a week off work and had traveled into British Columbia and spent some time in Kelowna area on the Kettle Valley Rail trails which are part of the Trans-Canada Trail system. Also spent a few days in Revelstoke riding some amazing trails there as well. I wanted to send you a few photos from the journey. The train trestles, tunnels and rock scenery was from a day on the Kettle Valley Reclaimed Rail Line. We rode 52km of this amazing scenery that day and it was beautiful. There are over 300km of reclaimed rail line to explore out there. Where there used to be trains, there are now bikes and hikers!! Hope you guys enjoy!CheersCpl. Jeff
